It has been a very difficult few months for everyone at BK Atelier and the communities around the world. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have already been affected by this crisis.  With the important focus on COVID-19 we want to reassure our customers and clients that we are taking "Safety Above All" steps to ensure your carrier comes to you in a safe and timely manner.  We are listening to recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), The World Health Organization (WHO) and The Public Health Agency of Canada as we strive to help protect our customers and our team members. We are disinfecting our packing facility and equipment as appropriate.  As always when you purchase any BK Atelier Carrier or Tote, they are brand new and free from any pet scent.  
  
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, you may have wondered, “Is that package safe to touch?” The WHO has answered that question for us. They’ve made it clear that it is safe to handle a package, even if it comes from a place where the virus has been reported.

Additionally, we are launching new delivery procedures to limit the interaction between customers and courier:  

  • Signature-free Delivery: We adjusted our procedures to ensure that customers do not need to touch any device to sign for their order--this is a safety precaution we've put in place for the safety of our customers. (We ship via USPS Priority Mail® and or Canada Post Priority all packages will have tracking numbers)
  • *UPDATE* (March 1, 21) Currently our shipping partners, USPS as well as Canada Post are experiencing processing, tracking, and delivery delays due to COVID-19 and an increased volume of shipments during this time. 

        BK Atelier is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages once it has been shipped from our facility. During our "New Delivery Procedures" (In effect through December 31, 2021; we will continue to monitor the situation and update our procedures in accordance to guidance from the government agencies) you will receive a tracking number via USPS or Canada Post. Once your package has been delivered it will be your responsibility to receive the package in a timely manner.  

        Orders are sent to the exact shipping address provided at the time the order has been placed. Please ensure that the delivery address provided is accurate. BK Atelier is not responsible for lost packages or costs incurred by returned packages due to an inaccurate address.  

        We will continue to provide up-to-date and transparent communication as this situation continues to evolve.  Thank you for your commitment to BK Atelier. We appreciate the trust you place in our company to provide you and your pup with the chicest travel carrier around.
